How does an investigation work?
- You discover the case: a place, a crime, about ten people, places to search and objects found on the scene.
- You turn the cards one by one: each person, place and object is either linked to the case or innocent.
- Every right answer gives a new clue: “the culprit is not on the first floor”, “exactly two suspects among Lea's neighbors”…
- You close the file and find out what the false suspects were hiding.
No luck involved: everything is proven
Unlike a game where you guess, Enquetix refuses your answer until the clues prove it. You can't win by trying your luck: you have to reason, like a real detective. If you get stuck, our detective tips explain the reflexes that unlock almost every situation.

Do I need an account?
No. Your progress stays in your browser. An account is possible if you want to find it on another device, but it is never required.
How long does a case take?
A few minutes, a quarter of an hour if you like digging. The tutorial only takes two minutes.
Are the cases real?
The daily cases are made up (characters and places included). The famous cases rely on real events told as they happened. The cases take place in France (French names and towns), translated into English.
